The fabric of the Skycamp tent is made from recycled materials, specifically yarn produced by melting down used plastic bottles. This process occurs in factories that adhere to strict environmental and social standards, ensuring that everything from the materials to the workplace is safe and clean. These standards guarantee the use of no harmful chemicals, that the water leaving the factory is clean, and that workers are treated fairly. As a result, the tent is not only eco-friendly but also responsibly manufactured.

The hard shell of the Skycamp is made from fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), an ideal material for outdoor use. For the base, a lightweight yet strong aluminum honeycomb material, approximately 20mm thick, is used, capable of supporting over 1,000kg. These thoughtful choices guarantee that the tent is not only sturdy but also built to withstand the elements and stand the test of time.

The ceiling includes a skylight for stargazing, while the side windows offer perfect ventilation, ensuring a cozy outdoor experience. Road Testing

iKamper conducted over 3,500 km of road tests across various terrains, including unpaved roads and highways.

Wind Tunnel Testing

The Skycamps were tested against winds up to 15 meters per second from different angles—front, side, and rear. The tent and its components remained securely in place, even under strong wind conditions.

Water Spraying Test

To simulate rainy conditions, water spraying tests were performed on the tent. Even during heavy rainfall, the Skycamps remained leak-free, keeping users dry and protected.
